Update from Turkey

This weekend the Crisis Response Team have been back to Hatay, Turkey to provide the next level of support to orphaned and vulnerable children we made contact with during our first and second deployments.

Our Keep a Child Warm project is going strong in Moldova, and lots of refugee families are able to come and get practical help with warm blankets, clothing, shoes, consumables and food packages.

Distributing 260 Blankets in Hatay

In the midst of our team’s deployment to Hatay, they distributed a grand total of 260 hand-crafted blankets directly to orphaned and displaced children. Go team!

Distributing Blankets and Smiles

Over the past few days, our team have been distributing warm clothing, winter coats, and our iconic blankets to the children and families in Moldova who need our help. All of your kind donations have not only gifted these children bundles of warmth, but also left them feeling loved, happy, and never forgotten.

Stitches of Warmth and Love

So many gorgeous blankets are made lovingly by generous folk around the UK (and even further afield).

Our Global Expedition team travelled to Moldova for the Keep a Child Warm 2019 distribution where they kitted out around 1600 children for winter. The lovely thing about our distribution expedition is having the wonderful opportunity to meet each child who receives a winter kit.
