A Very Happy Easter!

For another year our Easter egg appeal for the most vulnerable was an amazing success! With such a large request this year we would like to thank all of the companies, community groups and individuals who supported this project by donating eggs as well as financially supporting us! Also a massive thank you to our volunteers and Duke of Edinburgh squad who supported our egg count up, labelling and getting ready for distribution days. We are massively appreciative to have your support during hectic times of the year! :)

We had a huge financial donation success this year with £433 donated! This allowed us to buy 440 eggs due to ASDA’s roll back prices being £0.98!! We are so overwhelmed to have support like this from the local community, it really makes such a massive difference to making the vulnerable children feeling seen and cared for.

For the first distribution of eggs we had a request of 2,100 eggs. A week before delivery date, we weren’t sure we were going to come near this target. After a few social media appeals, the community really came together to make this possible, leaving us with 2,316 eggs!!

In total, we delivered all 3,082 gifts to social workers, care groups and community support facilities. The work these groups do is so special and we want to give you a massive thank you, we are so delighted that we are able to support you during the festive times!
